As the exclusive agent for a fleet of 14 heavy lift vessels, SAL provides customized and reliable sea transportation solutions for all types of project cargoes including heavy machinery, equipment for the oil and gas industry, (offshore) wind energy, cranes and floating cargo.

Amongst the trademarks of the fleet are their high crane capacity of 1,400 mtons SWL – 2,000 mtons SWL by the end of 2010 – and their unrivalled speed of 20 knots imperative for the safe delivery of time-sensitive cargo.

SAL’s in-house engineering department develops innovative approaches to complex transportation needs and provides follow up from the planning stages to successful project completion.

SAL is committed to a comprehensive approach to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management. All vessels in the fleet are ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certified. The implementation of these standards is ensured by SAL’s in-house HSE department and the highly skilled heavy lift crew on board.
